Engines and Versatility

With this edition of the RAM 1500, you have several trim levels to choose from and three engines offered among them. There’s a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with the eTorque Mild Hybrid Technology System, and a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI SRT V8. The V6 has a 305-horsepower output and tows up to 7,730 pounds, though the 395-horsepower HEMI V8 is especially powerful when it comes to towing with its 12,750-pound rating.

Then, there’s the 6.2-liter V8, which comes exclusively in the rugged TRX model and generates 702 horsepower while lending the truck a 0 to 60 MPH time of just 4.5 seconds.

Comforts and Design
