Engine

A 2.0 liter in-line four direct injection PHEV engine hides under the hood, delivering 375 horsepower. Charging the battery via the included Level 1 cable takes around 12 hours. Upgrade to the available Level 2 charger and the 4ex battery charges in just 2 hours.

Storage and Towing

As with the majority of offerings from Jeep, the Wrangler comes with lots of storage options, from the cargo tie-down loops to a full-length floor console. A max payload of 1,328 pounds and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds lets you hitch up the trailer, load up the family, and head off for an off-road adventure.

Infotainment

Jeep’s Uconnect 5 infotainment system means the 4xe is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen for displaying climate controls and media info. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are also included as standard. Lower trim levels come with an eight-speaker sound system as standard while the High Altitude and Rubicon feature the Alpine Premium audio system with nine speakers (including a rear subwoofer) and a 12-channel amplifier. Higher specs are also equipped with a TomTom navigation system.
