As always, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is setting new industry standards with the most advanced AWD system in its class. The new technology makes the Pacifica a pro for taking on the harsh and unpredictable road conditions of the Twin Cities area. If wheels lose traction on ice or snow, the Pacifica’s new AWD system automatically transfers all available engine torque to the wheels that have the most traction.
When AWD is not required, the power transfer unit and rear drive module automatically disconnect in order to stop the drive shaft from spinning. This helps to reduce driveline drag and improve overall efficiency. The 2021 Pacifica is the only vehicle in its class that offers this function.
And here’s another bonus – the 2021 Pacifica is the only vehicle on the market to offer AWD capability combined with class-exclusive Stow ’n Go® seating.
