A 168 kWh battery and two electric drive modules (EDMs) power the pickup truck, generating a net 654 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque and distributing it to all four wheels in an all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration. The excellent traction and immense torque translate to a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.4 seconds, a towing capacity of 14,000 lbs, and a payload capacity of 2,625 lbs.
Driving Range for Uninterrupted Trucking
To eliminate the hassle of having to stop at multiple charging stations, the 1500 REV offers an outstanding 350 miles of driving range. Numerous energy-conserving technologies ensure that you can drive the extra mile during a long haul. For instance, One Pedal Driving Mode automatically applies the regenerative brakes to recapture kinetic energy as you ease your foot off the accelerator. This is then converted to electrical energy and used to recharge the battery on the go.
Charging the 1500 REV is convenient; it can be plugged into almost any AC or DC charger, and the smart charging port uses lights to indicate the charge level. When plugged into a DC fast charger, the pickup truck gains 110 miles of driving range every 10 minutes, readying it to continue the haul by the time you finish your coffee.
Rugged Design for Off-Roading
Driving beyond the pavement is smooth sailing with the 1500 REV’s electric AWD drivetrain, advanced suspension, and soaring ground clearance. The pickup truck features an electronic-locking rear differential on the rear axle, dramatically enhancing traction on both uneven and slippery terrain. The four-corner air suspension with adaptive damping offers two dedicated off-road modes that improve energy absorption from dips and bumps. Additionally, the truck’s excellent ground clearance allows it to scale large obstacles and ford water 24 inches deep.
Semi-Autonomous Driving on Highways
The 1500 REV handles most of the highway driving for you with its semi-autonomous driving mode, Active Driving Assist. The system works by using sensors, such as cameras and radars, to keep the truck centered in the lane, handle bends and curves, and maintain distance from other vehicles on the road.
